Located within the heart of The Lodge Wadjemup, Sunsets is where you can let island life take over — let your days drift into golden evenings at Rottnest’s go-to sunset spot.
Our sun-soaked menu draws from the shores of the Mediterranean, celebrating vibrant, seasonal produce and coastal flavours designed to share, savour and sip over as the sun goes down.
Open daily for drinks and dining from 7am until late. Open to guests of the hotel and visitors to the island - everyone is welcome.

When you’re on vacation, it’s never too early for a drink. Our bar is open all day, every day, for you to make every moment of your stay one to celebrate. Our bespoke wine list and cocktail list has something for everyone - stop by for Apero Hour daily between 3pm and 5pm for $12 spritz and $10 schooners.
Graze, lunch and linger.
Our seasonal menu brings together exquisite flavours of the Med with the freshest Australian produce, and our drinks list does the same. Cocktails pair perfectly poolside or on the terrace overlooking the Rottnest salt lakes - the best seat on the island to watch the sky change colour. For something more sheltered, the rear courtyard offers respite from the sun and wind, with shaded pergolas, banquette seating and communal tables ideal for groups.
Breakfast, your way.
Indulge in house-made pastries, baked fresh each morning, alongside a curated selection of continental breakfast favourites and a-la-carte – crispy bacon and eggs cooked just the way you like them. Breakfast is open to all guests and visitors to the island, between 7am and 11am.
Tuesday Pinot & Pasta
Weekly $30 pasta and pinot pairing. Every Tuesday from 11.30am
Wednesday Steak & Bottomless Fries
Weekly $35 300g Scotch Fillet with bone marrow, red wine and shallot butter, and bottomless fries.
Sunday Rotisserie
Weekly $35 rotisserie meats, with all the trimmings. Every Sunday from 11.30am.
A La Carte Breakfast
Your choice of a continental buffet or an à la carte menu, crafted with seasonal favourites. Available daily from 7am-11am.
Apero Hour
Unwind the right way with a $12 spritz or $10 schooner. Available daily from 3pm–5pm at Sunsets.
